Arthurian Romances

The World Pertaining to King Arthur

Today’s Tarot Card is the Four of Pentacles!

Jill Roberts Psychic Medium

Meaning:

The message from the 4 of Pentacles when it arrives in your day is that you are hanging onto something out of fear. There’s nothing wrong with that. We all hang onto things for fear of losing them. This is not an action card, but a card of you pulling everything close to your vest in an effort to maintain control and stability. It often takes great discipline to do so, and so the theme of discipline is also present in your day when you see this card. When this card appears, the message is to have a look at your environment and what you are so afraid of losing. It may not be a bad idea to relax your way about life, as this card brings the message that you have nothing to worry about at all.

Symbolism:

In the 4 of Pentacles we see a man sitting…

Jill Roberts

Welcome to the blog of The Upper East Side Medium, Jill Roberts!

Every medium varies just like every snowflake. We all have our own special gifts and we all have certain abilities that are stronger than others. My abilities are more of the Evidential Mediumship nature, which means my strengths are connecting with the other side and loved ones who have passed. In case you are unaware, there’s a big difference between being “psychic” and being a “medium”. I do get psychic impressions and even messages from your loved ones in a prophetic nature, however, I am not psychic myself. I believe in free will and destiny so the prophetically type of readings I tend to only use…

War Crow

War CrowWar Crow by Robert Faulkner
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I absolutely loved this Arthurian novel! It is a must read for anyone who enjoys a good story about King Arthur and his crew, especially my favorite, Morgan Le Faye. Mr. Faulkner is a masterful storyteller and this standalone novel won’t disappoint.

The Welsh legend of the birth of Taliesin

This is from a fantastic blog ztevetevans.wordpress.com! Definitely check it out! 😊

Under the influence!

Taliesin was one of the most famous and celebrated bards in Wales and holds an important place in Welsh history, mythology and culture to this day. Although evidence is patchy he was thought to have been born around 534 AD and died around 599 AD and was believed to have performed at the courts of three Brythonic kings. Many legends and myths grew up around him and some of his poems are still available today. The legend of Taliesin’s birth begins before he was born. This seems a strange thing to say but this is how the story went.
